Knowledge is an organization’s most valuable resource. As individuals leave the workforce and opt for retirement or other life changes, key knowledge and experience is lost. This workshop will cover how to identify critical documented and undocumented knowledge that needs to be retained, who processes the knowledge, and techniques to transfer and retain the knowledge. There will be a discussion of succession planning to aid organizations in preparations to fill vacancies and remain competitive in the market. Students will leave this course with a template to create their own knowledge management action plan.
